Trolley Ride To A Winter Wedding At The Foundry

Trolley Ride To A Winter Wedding At The Foundry

Our last wedding of 2018 was spent celebrating Taylor and Brandon at The Foundry in downtown Knoxville. This fun couple opted to shuttle us around Downtown Knoxville in a trolley for all of the photo opportunities and we are so grateful they did! Taylor and Brandon did a first look so we were able to utilize the time before their ceremony to go to Market Square and even World’s Fair Park itself. Some of our favorites are of the wedding party in front of the trolley with the Sunsphere in the background.

Foundry Wedding

Nestled next to the famous World’s Fair Park, The Foundry is one of Knoxville’s hidden gems. Beneath the shadow of the famous Sunsphere our couple held their wedding and reception at this spectacular venue. They said their vows before friends and family in the front room of The Foundry under a winter floral arbor. Surrounded by exposed brick and wood beams, you couldn’t help but feel warm and cozy during the wedding ceremony.

From the pine cone place card holders to their embroidered monogrammed head table linen, the reception was full of unique touches. The Foundry reception area has lights draped across the vaulted ceiling giving this wedding another element of romance. As if we weren’t already getting that from the newlyweds. You can just feel the love that Taylor and Brandon have for each other. It is so heart warming. Speaking of warming, this reception included a styled seating area so guests could cozy up to the fire in the gorgeous fireplace of The Foundry. Love!

Friends and family then danced to the night away under the twinkling lights with help glow sticks and fun glasses. At the end of the night Taylor and Brandon emptied the reception hall for a Last Dance with just the two of them. We love this trend. It allows a couple to come back together at the end of a crazy, jammed packed day full of pictures, wedding traditions and dancing to reconnect and remember why they are there. They are married! It is all about the two of them from now to forever. Uhhh it’s just so sweet!

Keeping it in the family

Fun fact this is the third wedding we’ve photographed for this awesome family! For a family to use us once is great, however to have a family ask us back not two but THREE times is unbelievably touching! For Taylor’s family we’ve captured her cousin’s, sister’s and now her wedding! We love being a part of so many major milestones in this family’s lives. Seeing them grow and add loved ones into their family is such a blessing. Taylor and her sister, Haley, both did a first look with their Dad on each of their wedding days. Let me just tell you they are tearjerkers. What a loving family we are blessed to have photographed.

Taylor and Brandon were sent off into married life to the sounds of jingle bells. What a great way to end a winter wedding! To see all of this winter wedding full of unique touches, keep scrolling!
