There’s nothing like a southern-styled, backyard wedding in the Early spring at Dara’s Garden, and Haley and Drew’s wedding was just that!
Not only was there an inspiration of a southern wedding, but an Irish Veil Blessing to symbolize Haley’s heritage and bless their union. A veil was placed over Haley’s head and draped around Drew’s shoulder while an Irish blessing was read over them. The blessing is now framed in their home and pieces of the veil will be used for special occasions throughout their journey of marriage.
Between the simple elegance of the green and white florals to the blue palate of the bridesmaids dresses and the blue suits the groomsmen wore, what was there not to love about their day! Even Haley’s gown from White Lace & Promises ties in the simplistic beauty of the backyard wedding she and Drew desired.
Haley and Drew’s wedding was made even more special with the subtle details they added into their day to symbolize their personalities. From the groomsmen walking into the TN waltz to signify their love for UT, Haley and her father walking into “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling”, the koozies to represent Master’s Weekend and Drew being a caddy for the PGA, to Haley & Drew’s epic exit in their UT and Alabama attire!
Haley and Drew wanted a wedding day filled with their unique personalities and heritage and they did such an incredible job of really making their special day about them!
