Winter weddings just tend to have such a warm feeling to them, even though it may be cold outside. Everyone you love comes together to celebrate your love and the new journey you are embarking on! It’s such a sweet time and we love getting to watch it unfold. In December, Carly and Marcus got to experience this warmth while surrounded by their loved ones at 4 Points Farm in the Smoky Mountains.
Their wedding had a vintage, southern charm to it and it was beautiful. Their ceremony and reception were both housed in the barn on the property, and they used live Christmas trees to decorate the inside of the barn. Carly’s color scheme of creams and cranberry red was just stunning. The groom and groomsmen were fashioned in cranberry-colored shirts and brown suits. While Carly, the bride, wore a beautiful dress with a lace overlay and cashmere-toned fabric under the overlay. The detail of the bottom of her dress was so unique and perfect. We loved the tiered ruffles! Carly was a glowing bride and even added a nice touch to her ensemble by incorporating the cranberry color into her garter.
As always, Melissa Timm Designs did an incredible job with the flowers. The bride’s bouquet was filled with white and cream roses, accents of red peonies, eucalyptus leaves, and red sprigs. The groomsmen even wore boutonnieres with cranberries! If you couldn’t tell, we just can’t get enough of this beautiful color palate.
All-in-all, it was a beautiful day at 4 Points Farm, and it was so cool to watch the couple be loved and prayed over by all their friends and family. We love getting to experience a couple and their community, especially on the biggest day of their lives.
Enjoy all the wonderful shots from this beautiful winter wedding in the Smokies!
